Teaching can be a lonely field in which to work. Besides the kids, it is so vital to have co-workers who have your back. In episode 7, I speak with Stefania, a middle school art teacher who shares the beauty of working with people who are the family we choose. Stefania also discusses the difficulty of leaving behind a school family when making the jump from elementary school to middle school.
How essential are co-workers to you? I know for me they made my time teaching some of the best times of my life.
