Podcast Equipment Recommendations

I have done a lot of research on the following recommendations. I also own all the microphones I recommend. My hope is to save you time and money in terms of podcasting equipment.

I am an affiliate partner for Amazon. So I do get a very small amount of the purchase. This amount does not impact the price you pay. If that makes you feel uncomfortable, you can simply search the names on Amazon and pay without using my direct link. If you choose to support my time and efforts, I greatly appreciate you using my link.

Microphone Recommendations

⭐️ Samson Q2U on Amazon

Includes a microphone, boom arm, stand, windscreen, pop filter, and headphones. (Headphones are cheap.) This microphone connects with a USB port. You may need a dongle to attach it to a Mac. Pictured above.

Audio Technica ATR2100 Microphone Only

AKG Pro Audio Lyra Ultra-HD

This microphone is really helpful for Zoom recordings, as you don’t need to have it right up against your mouth. The other nice thing about this microphone is that you can do an in-person interview, as the mic has a front and back feature.

On a Budget?

A Lapel mic will do, but if you want a more professional microphone go with any of the above.
