I'm Trina Deboree, and I've been in education for over 20 years. In that time I've learned a lot about teaching and learning. In 2011, I received my Masters in Education Technology and Media Design from Full Sail University where I learned how to seamlessly integrate technology into my 2nd-grade classroom.

  • One of the best things about podcasting is you don't need fancy equipment. In Podcasting School for Teachers, I show you how to use any device in your classroom to record and host your show. You don't even need a fancy microphone. Apple, Android, and even a computer will work.

  • I'm so glad you asked this question. You do not need to be a one-to-one classroom to utilize podcasts in your learning space. You can use one device to both listen and record. It may take you longer to get episodes recorded with fewer devices but it is possible. Also, you really only need one device to listen to podcasts. Android or Apple! Anything goes.

  • I know time is a hot commodity in the classroom. Teachers don't have time to waste. I get that. Podcasts don't have to replace good instruction. They can be used to enhance good instruction. And I have taken a lot of the guesswork and time-consuming tasks out of it. You get multiple lists of great podcasts to play in your classroom the very next day. I will also give you a step-by-step guide to starting a podcast in your classroom. So all you need to do is get your kids ready to start the show!

  • I wish there were a way for me to offer you inservice credits. Currently, I don't have the means to do so. The training is about forty-five minutes. So hopefully, that timeframe feels comfortable, and the content feels worth the personal investment.

  • The bonuses are created to help support your integration of podcasts and podcasting in your classroom. Some of the components are a sample of a larger product that you can find on TpT. But each component can be used on its own. Other pdfs can only be found in this training, but you will walk away with the tools you need to get started the very next day.

  • Adding a podcast to your content delivery is as easy as searching for the podcast on your device and pressing play. So you can start the very next day. I will also give you some specific podcasts to make searching for the perfect show easier. You will also receive a sample podcast exit ticket to copy and use tomorrow. Getting your kids set up to start podcasting may take a few more days, but not long. You should be up and rolling within the week.
